Accessibility Statement
The Salt Advisory LLC
Last updated: 11 September 2026
We want everyone to be able to use this website comfortably, including people who rely on assistive technology. This page describes what we have done, what we know could be better, and how to tell us when something isn't working for you.
1. Our standard — We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the widely recognised international standard for web accessibility.
2. What we have done — This site was designed with accessibility in mind from the start:
Structure — Pages use proper semantic structure — real headings in a logical order, labelled navigation, and landmarks — so screen readers can move through the content sensibly.
Contrast — Our colour palette meets WCAG AA contrast requirements throughout: deep navy body text comfortably exceeds the minimums, and the gold used for small labels and interface accents was specifically darkened during design development so that it, too, clears the AA threshold on our warm white background.
Keyboard access — The site can be navigated entirely by keyboard, and a visible focus indicator shows where you are at all times.
Text and scaling — Text is real text, not images of text, and the layout adapts without loss of content when zoomed to 200% or viewed on small screens.
Motion — The site respects your device's "reduce motion" setting and contains no autoplaying video, animation, or carousels.
Images — Informative images carry text alternatives; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
Links — Social media and icon links carry descriptive labels for screen reader users.
3. Known limitations — Documents linked from this site (such as PDFs, if any are added in future) may not be fully accessible. If you need any document in an accessible format, contact us and we will provide one.
4. Feedback and contact — If anything on this site is difficult to use with assistive technology, or you need content in another format, please tell us: hello@thesaltadvisory.com. Include the page address and a description of the problem. We aim to respond within five business days and to fix genuine barriers promptly.
5. Enforcement and further help — If you are in the United Kingdom and are not happy with how we respond, the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) can advise you. In the United States, this site is provided by a private business committed to the spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
6. Review — We review this statement, and the site's accessibility, when the site changes materially and at least once a year.
